Manchester United went into this final versus Chelsea as Premier League Champions and were on the verge of an historic first double for the club. The first half finished 0-0 but United turned up for the 2nd half with Eric Cantona scoring two penalties, before Mark Hughes and Brian Mclair finished the tie 4-0.
